"I have now used Autosonics to install an Escort radar detector SmartWire (hardwire) in 3 of my cars: 2 BMWs and 1 Audi. The install and parts prices are reasonable, the experience is wholly professional, and the workmanship is top notch. Despite the complexity of finding a way to tie in to these foreign cars that don't have an easy place to find a constant, unswitched voltage, they certainly know where to tie in. That is important because in the past I had used another outfit closer to where I lived to hardwire my cars, and as the options to find constant voltage went away, my outfit (and several others) finally gave up trying.
